Citizens Restoring Congamond invites you to celebrate the Independence Day weekend by joining us at Babb’s Park (433 Babb’s Road, West Suffield, CT) on Saturday July 2 at 5 pm for the Annual Boat Parade on Congamond Lake. 

The theme of the Boat Parade is “Redneck Yacht Club.”  Decorate your boats and gather in front of Babb’s Beach between 5:00 and 6:00.  Spectators, bring a lawn chair or blanket.  Jessie Kulungian from West Suffield will sing the National Anthem, and the parade will start off at 6 pm, proceed from Babb’s to the North Boat Ramp, (be sure to go by Louie B’s as there is usually quite a crowd on the deck) circle back to Saunders Boat Livery, and back to Babb’s. 

At dusk, lakefront residents are encouraged to Light Up The Lakes by lining their beaches with tiki torches or bonfires (safely, of course!).
